Intake Specialist

Position Summary: The Intake Specialist reports to the Director of Clinical Services, and is responsible for being the initial direct services contact for clients requesting survivor services. The Intake Specialist assesses client’s needs, completes Intake Forms, keeps client database (Apricot) updated, and directs clients to the appropriate CRCC service, or other services outside the center as necessary. The Intake Specialist provides referrals to clients outside of the therapeutic realm and assists in connecting clients with available community resources.  The Intake Specialist will also provide administrative support to the Therapeutic Services Team as needed.

Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Counseling, and/or a related field.  Minimum of one year experience in a non-profit setting required. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of cultural diversity and working with minorities; knowledge of community resources and social service providers. Must be able to work well with staff and to communicate effectively. Ability to handle crisis situations with a minimum of supervision. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Community Outreach Specialist – Campus

Position Summary: The Community Outreach Specialist – Campus reports to the Director of Campus Services and is responsible for directing and participating in events and activities designed to recruit potential clients on college campuses, and engage the college community in the programs and services of CRCC. The Community Outreach Specialist – Campus is part of CRCC’s Campus Services Team and works on a variety of area college campuses. Provides information via presentations, information dissemination, phone calls, etc. Assists in establishing purposeful partnerships with organizations on college campuses such as student groups, campus police, counseling centers and other important stakeholders. Documents all efforts and prepares summary reports. Requires travel within Cuyahoga County.

Qualifications: A qualified applicant will have a BA in a related field, experience in working with community-based programs; demonstrate leadership, collaboration, facilitation and organizational skills. This is a full-time position. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Community Engagement Specialist

Position Summary: The Community Engagement Specialist works to build impactful engagement with Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s target audiences online and in the community so that more survivors of rape and sexual abuse seek the Center’s services. The Community Engagement Specialist position – a newly created position – is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to help others and gain experience working for a growing nonprofit organization within the social justice and social services sectors. This position reports to the Director of Community Engagement within the Resource Development Department. Principal duties are to manage and inform the agency’s social media plan (strategy, content, measurement); develop and coordinate the agency’s communications calendar (content creation, strategy design); manage the agency’s website; maintain the agency’s suite of marketing materials; utilize CRM-style database; act as an ambassador of CRCC; and perform administrative and other duties as needed. This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of demonstrated experience (professional and/or strong internship experience) in a broad base of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram; a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or related field; the ability to understand and communicate the agency’s mission; the ability to multi-task and organize; strong verbal and written communications skills; demonstrated successful experience in communications; proficiency in the use of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Hootsuite, Constant Contact (or equivalent programs); and basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other graphics-based software. Manager of Human Resources

Position Summary: The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for the administration of the human resources policies and procedures. They are instrumental in the areas of departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employment. This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position.

Qualifications: The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years of broad HR experience, including experience with payroll, reporting, benefits and the annual audit process; in-depth knowledge of at least one payroll system; and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. An ideal candidate will be results oriented with superior skills in organizing, planning, and attention to details; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; and have a strong sense of integrity, honesty, and ethics.

Trauma Therapist

Position Summary: The Trauma Therapist reports to the Director of Clinical Services and provides individual and group therapeutic services to all survivors of rape and sexual abuse, as well as to non-offending family members, guardians, and other close supporters. The Trauma Therapist is expected to independently manage a caseload to ensure that all clients receive timely services. Has experience with co-occurring disorders such as addictions and mental illness.

Qualifications: A qualified applicant will have a Master’s degree in Social Services, Counseling, Art Therapy and/or a related field, with valid OH license (LSW, LISW, PCC). Specialization in experiential modes of therapy (art, play, music) and/or training in evidenced-based trauma treatment methods such as EMDR, CPT, TF-CBT preferred. This is a full-time position (40-hours a week) requiring flexible hours (evenings, PRN Saturdays) of work. Requires travel.

Client Services Specialist – Westlake Office

Position Summary: The Client Services Specialist reports to the Westlake Regional Manager and will staff the Center’s reception area at our Westlake office during business hours to greet and appropriately direct clients via phone calls or in person, playing a critical role in providing outstanding, trauma-informed client/customer services. Duties further include client check in/check out, collecting insurance/demographic information, updating client data in electronic health records, faxing, filing, scanning, and keeping the reception area organized.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, is responsible for positive client relationships, is detail oriented and effective at multitasking, technologically savvy, able to work in a fast-paced environment, sensitive to clients and caller’s needs and confidentiality. Position requires Associates Degree; minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience. This is a full-time Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm position; occasional early mornings, later evenings required. Must have a valid OH driver’s license and reliable transportation.
