Crisis Intervention Specialist – Full Time (days, nights and weekends available)

Position Summary: The Crisis Intervention Specialist reports to the Manager of 24-Hour Services and is responsible for providing 24-Hour Support Services, including in-person support to survivors and their families during forensic medical exams in hospitals, and during police reports; hotline coverage to ensure all survivors and co-survivors of sexual abuse, rape and human trafficking in Northeast Ohio have immediate 24/7 access to support, education, crisis stabilization and follow-up services. The Crisis Intervention Specialist works closely with CRCC volunteers, taking on the role of shift leader by answering questions, addressing any scheduling changes, problems, or questions and providing information as needed. This is a full-time (40-hours a week) position for day shifts, nights and weekends.

Qualifications: A qualified applicant will have a background in social work, psychology, sociology or related field, with a minimum of two years professionally supervised work in the delivery of mental health, chemical dependency, social services and/or criminal justice experience. LSW a plus. Ability to serve individuals in a direct service capacity; remain calm and clear-headed in stressful or unanticipated situations; be accessible and reliable while on-call. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary and weekend and holiday hours are required. Must have valid OH driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel throughout Cuyahoga and Lake Counties.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Trauma Therapist

Position Summary: The Trauma Therapist reports to the Director of Clinical Services and provides individual and group therapeutic services to all survivors of rape and sexual abuse, as well as to non-offending family members, guardians, and other close supporters. The Trauma Therapist is expected to independently manage a caseload to ensure that all clients receive timely services. Has experience with co-occurring disorders such as addictions and mental illness. This is a full-time position requiring flexible hours (evenings, PRN Saturdays) of work, and may require working in more than one agency location.

Qualifications: A qualified applicant will have a Master’s degree in Social Services, Counseling, Art Therapy and/or a related field, with valid OH license (LSW, LISW, PCC). Specialization in experiential modes of therapy (art, play, music) and/or training in evidenced-based trauma treatment methods such as EMDR, CPT, TF-CBT preferred. Requires travel.

Director, Major Gifts

Position Summary: The Director, Major Gifts works to grow Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s annual revenues and base of supporters.  As a member of the Leadership Team, this key position oversees and performs activities related to major gifts, annual fund, corporate giving and special events.  This is a full-time, exempt position.  Occasional evening and weekend work hours will be required. Professional must have demonstrated written communication abilities as well as honed critical thinking and relationship-building skills.  The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, goal oriented, self-starter, who likes to work with autonomy.  Candidates with previous supervisory and health and human service-based experiences are highly desired.  Candidates lacking a sense of humor will not be considered.

Director of Government Affairs

Position Summary: The Director of Government Affairs is responsible for the execution of Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s government relations, public policy advocacy, and community relations strategies with the goal of augmenting government funding for sexual violence victim services and prevention, influencing public policies that support survivors and promote prevention, and creating and maintaining strong linkages between CRCC and community partners from a variety of sectors that are aligned with CRCC’s mission and strategies. Development Coordinator

Position Summary: The Development Coordinator will work as a team affiliate to secure operating and program-related support for CRCC.  Responsibilities will include special event coordination, database management, grant writing, donor stewardship, and administrative support. This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position. CRCC offers a flexible schedule for the purposes of meeting the responsibilities of the position. Occasional evening and weekend hours required.

Qualifications: Professional must be goal oriented, a self-starter, deadline conscious, highly organized and able to work independently. Bachelor’s degree required; at least 2 years of experience in fund development or related field preferred.  Final candidate will have demonstrated grant writing experience.
