About Volunteering

Volunteers are an absolutely vital part of the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. In 2008 they handled more than 3,000 phone calls on the hotline, assisted over 200 survivors and secondary survivors in local emergency departments and police stations and provided immeasurable help and support for various fundraisers and CRCC events.

We at the CRCC thank our volunteers for allowing us to provide essential services to survivors of sexual assault and those who support them on a 24-hour basis at absolutely no cost.

Volunteering with the CRCC provides you with an opportunity to become an active part of the movement to end sexual violence. It is extremely personally rewarding. Volunteers become part of a close-knit community. And volunteering allows you to strengthen your resume and gain valuable experience.
