For College Campuses

If you are a college student or faculty, contact Alex Leslie at 216-619-6194 x 121 or alexl@clevelandrcc.org to learn more about how CRCC can help.

Women ages 16-24 are four times more likely to be assaulted than any other demographic.  In fact, many believe that the first three weeks that a student is on a college campus is the most dangerous time.

Cleveland Rape Crisis Center supports college communities in preventing and responding to sexual violence in many ways, including:

  • Fostering coalitions among campus groups and other campuses
  • Technical assistance on policy development
  • Training peer educators
  • Supporting student extracurricular groups such as 1 in 4
  • Supporting and enhancing educational campaigns, such as Sexual Assault Awareness Month
  • Presenting various programs to students and faculty
