CRCC Launches Plan for Change

From President & CEO Megan O'Bryan

Dear Friends:

The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center is "Reaching Beyond!"

We're reaching beyond boundaries to serve more survivors than ever before, beyond biases to promote the prevention of sexual violence and beyond barriers to create social change in our community. And we're reaching beyond our base of supporters to sustain our success.

All of this and more is outlined in the Center's new "Plan for Change," an overview of our strategic plan for the next three years, which we unveiled in April at a sold-out luncheon for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Our new strategic plan, our "Plan for Change," is our roadmap to the future. It helps us prioritize where to invest our resources our resources, so our efforts have the broadest impact possible. The Plan is the product of a year-long process involving CRCC Board, staff and community members to focus our services to meet the great demand.

One of the many intiatives outlined in the Plan is already coming to fruition. In dozens of locations throughout the City of Cleveland, you can find billboards, bus ads and kiosks promoting our 24-hour rape crisis and support hotline (216-619-6192). The ads feature our new campaign theme, "Let it Out" which was created with guidance and direction from current and former CRCC clients.

This campaign, the first advertising campaign in the history of the Center, is possible because of generous support from the Saint Luke's Foundation. We sincerely thank Saint Luke's - and the hundreds of people and organizations throughout Northeast Ohio - who reach deep in their pockets to support the Center, enabling us to "Reach Beyond."
