Ashley Hawke, MSSA, LSW

Director of Advocacy Services

Ashley is excited to rejoin the CRCC staff as the Director of Advocacy Services.  Ashley started as an intern at the CRCC in 2006 and was hired as an Advocate after she graduated from her Master of Science in Social Administration program at Case Western Reserve University.  Ashley also worked as the Program Coordinator of the Violence Prevention and Action Center at John Carroll University for about one year before coming back to the CRCC.  Ashley is a Registered Advocate with the State of Ohio and a Licensed Social Worker.  Ashley coordinates advocacy services for survivors of sexual assault and their support systems. She also provides training and information to local police departments, Cuyahoga County Grand Jury and others who may come in contact with survivors of sexual assault.  Ashley can be reached at (216) 619-6194 ext 103 or via email at ashleyh@clevelandrcc.org

Daveda Cunningham

Advocate

Daveda is one of the new additions to the wonderful team at CRCC.  She received her B.A in Family & Child Development from The University of Akron.  She has worked in the Social Service field for nine years. Under the guidance of the Manager of Advocacy Services, Daveda provides support for survivors and their non-offending family members at local emergency departments, police departments, and throughout the entire criminal justice process. Daveda assists with training professionals who may come in contact with survivors of sexual assault. Marya Simmons

Advocate

Marya joined the CRCC staff in 2009. Prior to joining the CRCC, she worked at Hitchcock Center for Women, Inc. for 3 years and is presently pursuing her degree in Criminal Justice. As an Advocate, Marya will provide support for survivors and their non-offending family members at the local emergency departments, police departments, and throughout the entire criminal justice process. Marya assists with training professionals who may come in contact with survivors of sexual assault.
