Girls Kick Butt!
GKB is a 4-hour empowerment workshop that supports teen girls expressing their questions, thoughts, and feelings through a variety of expressive media. Theatre, improvisation, role play, journaling, art making and the free exchange of ideas are at the core of this half day event for girls only. Middle and high school girls, ages 12 to 18, are welcome. GKB is free, includes lunch and is typically offered all day on various Saturdays throughout the year. It is not a therapy group and no one is asked whether they have been sexually assaulted.
Staffed by women members of the Therapuetic Services Team at the CRCC, GKB is a dynamic, fast moving day of exploration, contemplation, discovery and sharing of what makes being a girl unique, challenging and empowering!
Come be a part of a day that celebrates why young women can and are so powerful!
